Diablo III

Oh YES! Diablo III! No release date yet, but I'm excited anyway! Man I hope they still have that Sean Connery sounding guy who sells you shit. "Stay a while and listen..." My husband and I decided to amuse ourself by replacing the words "and listen" with plenty of rude alternatives.

What is the name of the vendor that sounds like sean connery? There was only one male dude in act 1 that sold crap, act 2 had like 4 but one of them was a mercenary, act 3 had 3 guys that sold crap, act 4 only had 1 guy and act 5 had like 3 guys.

What was your fav. class in diablo2?

So do you play world of warcraft then too?

I didn't get the chance to go back and play all the class types in Diablo II, but at the time I tended to go for fighter classes over magic ones just because I was getting used to playing RPGs on a computer for the first time and felt that handling a bunch of spells would be too confusing... My husband was the necromancer, and I believe I was the Amazon, but for some reason my memory is failing me and I'm not entirely certain.

Deckard Cain was the name of the merchant.

No, I don't play WoW because it would be far too time consuimg and expensive! I don't even know if I'll have the time to play Diablo III when it comes out... I may have to wait until my daughter gets to the stage that she's sick of the sight of mommy and wants to go play with others or by herself!

Oh ok I should have seen the hint in the post, too me Deckard Cain doesn't sound that close to sean connery.

I remember having a barbarian and sorceress on battle.net, they have this stupid policy that if you don't sign in with 90 days of your last visit your account is deleted, well I had been playing hardcore for a month before this, my barb had 7 out of the 8 immortal king set(just missing the chest piece), my sorceress had the full set of tal rasha's wrappings stone of jordan rings for both chars. All that gone after I didn't play for 90 days on battle.net. Lets just say I learned my lesson and only play singleplayer and then play openbattle.net if I want to play online, I hate the hacked items though on openbattle.net.

That's one thing I HATE about playing online is all the hacks and mods people run... I used to play Half Life 2 online and there were a lot less of that going on, but then I played Unreal Tournament online and it was FULL of cheating buggers. They'd kill me with one shot that would normally do much less damage and my doing headshots to them did nothing.
I tend to only play first person shooters online, if at all.. I prefer playing RPGs with my husband on a LAN line. By the way, have you ever played Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion? I got it for free with my computer and haven't made the time to play it, but if it's really worth while I may try to do more than just create a character!

Right now I spend more of my time playing D&D with my husband and guy friends. Lame, I know, but we have fun!

I can't wait either! I want to try playing a new class... It would be cool if it came out on the PS3 since we finally got ourselves one recently. Either that or we need a new computer so my husband and I can both play at the same time.
Thanks for sharing!
