I LOVE This post, but to be honest I think these animals were made for this purpose but what makes this treatment so horrible the face that they don't kill them before they skin them.I don't mind wearing fur but I mind the way they get it, there are some more merciful ways like drugging the animals first and killing them with shots or something after that skin them, but I don't think that NOT wearing fur is the answer since there are some other people who doesn't care more than I do, I wanted to cry over the showed scenes specially with the one that was blinking his eyes after he was skinned, but fur is really luxurious and I don't think it should be forbidden. I can't make my point of view clear since I'm in a rush but let me explain that I'm not cold hearted I just feel that animals were made for us to eat , to keep as pets an d to wear.
this is unlimited cruelty, i can't believe that they do this to animals, humans no longer need the fur for clothing and fashion purposes as before centuries! there are million other ways other than killing animals this brutally, there is artificial fur
artificial fur is a crime against fashion, plus the problem here is the killing method not the purpose.
My main concern, too, is the treatment of the animals. If they were killed humanely it would be no worse than killing them for sustenance, which some may also see as a crime...Tala, I would never buy real fur but I do own leather shoes. I just don't think real fur is all that pretty when it's not on the animal, let alone the fact that I think killing for food is a little more sensible than killing to look glamarous.Qu.ing, haha! "crime against fashion"... Thanks for your honest opinion. And my guess is that you're a very well dressed individual (despite the dead animals) :)
Well I try to, but no I'm not, I love fashion though.
I think that killing an animal humanely for fur is worse than killing it humanely for sustenance. I ndo not have a problem with wearing leather if you eat the cow, but unless you or someone eats the mink let it wear its fur.
While I am against cruelty to animals, this is a dishonest video (to be expected from the peta people). Almost all of those animals shown are dogs. I saw the same footage on youtube when I followed a link about the Chinese eating dogs. Chinese enjoy eating dog meat, and they think it tastes better when the animals are "stressed" during slaughter. Maybe all the adrenaline in the tissues gives it a different taste. A search on youtube will bring you to some of the same video but in even more gruesome detail. The south koreans eat 2 million dogs a year. Cats are inhumanely butchered too, as they're also considered just food to eat. The solution is to boycott ALL products from those countries, not just fur, if you really want to make them feel pressure to change.
